No salt, no fat, no sugar restaurant menus? Not just yet.

Restaurant meals are notoriously high in salt, fat and sugar, so much so that I’ve had to walk away from many of my favorite dining out meals and search for restaurants that will cook special dishes for me without any of the big three that raise my blood pressure and clog my arteries.

So I was intrigued by a recent restaurant trade magazine headline: “Restaurants promote healthful menu platforms for new year.”   

Had restaurants, especially national chains, finally heard my cry for no salt, no fat and no sugar?
