I wrote recently about two salt-free marinade lines I found online, Mrs Dash and Mr. Spice. I wrote each company to see if they were available in any food stores in the Chicago area since I have not seen them in mainstream supermarkets or at places like Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s. Their answers are below.

Thank you for your interest and support!
We do not know of any locations locally for you to purchase our sauces locally.
You can order them on our site and get free shipping if you order 4 or more bottles.

Dear Mr. Frank,
We appreciate you taking the time to email.
We have recently re-launched the Mrs. Dash Marinade line. Available flavors include Lime Garlic, Lemon Pepper, Sweet Teriyaki, Steakhouse, and Garlic Herb.
B&G Foods recently acquired the Mrs.Dash brand from Unilever, which means products are transitioning into our distribution network. Products go into the chain’s distribution centers and stores order the items that sell best in their individual location. It is difficult to trace each brand variety to a specific store level, however, you might check Fairplay, Strack Van Till’s, Sunset Foods, and Ultra Foods stores.
You may want to talk to the Store Manager of your local supermarket store to advise them of the change in brand ownership and to see if they can order them for you.
We do not sell direct to the consumer from our facilities. You can contact a mail order company by the name of My Brands. They carry many of the B&G brand products, but not all, and will deliver directly to your door. Their toll free number is 1-888-281-6400 or visit them on line at WWW.MYBRANDS.COM. You might try WWW.AMAZON.COM and WWW.HEALTHYHEARTMARKET.COM as well.
Not the answers I was hoping for, but at least they both answered. Let’s hope they both can expand their distribution soon. Shipping costs can raise a bottle’s cost substantially.
John
