  1. Saw your comment on the NYT and am glad to see you’re doing well with no salt/fat/sugar. Cathy Fisher’s Straight Up Food blog (http://www.straightupfood.com/blog/) is a great resource with plenty of recipes, including baked goods. Nothing but real food and all quite delicious once one’s tastebuds have adapted to eating whole foods.

    1. Thanks, I’ll check it out, are the recipes there low sodium and low fat? spm often recipes calling themselves healthy still have a lot of one or the other of those, especially when it comes to restaurants’ so-called healthy menus.

  4. I was just told to limit my salt intake as well as potassium and protein. I was taken off calcium supplements. I have been Diabetic for 15 years. I’m beginning to wonder what I CAN eat… any help would be greatly appreciated.

    1. Check the ingredients page here for products that can help you. Eating out is the toughest, you may find you simply cook more at home and start from scratch with more items.
